Timeless Beauty
Is there anyone more glamourous than Audrey Hepburn?
An experiment with Photoshop Elements. I am such a neophyte working with this software, I'm not exactly sure how I managed to make this look the way it does, but here it is : .)

Overindulgence
Late night at the caternity party. Unfortunately, somekitty indulged in too much catnip and barfed all over owner's comforter. No, she's not dead, just really indisposed.
Torn paper collage, like we used to do in elementary school art class.

Life List Item #9,999
I can check another item off my list of people, places and things I want to see and do b/4 my time runs out.
Yosemite in the winter, check!
Last weekend, I invited myself to the cabin of my friends, Jimmy and Madeline, which as the crow flies is 18 or so miles from Yosemite National Park. I had thought about asking if we could drive over, but didn't want to impose more than I already did. As it turned out, Jimmy mentioned that the Yosemite Valley gets snow maybe twice a year and that we should go.
Hallelujah!!! Talk about the universe conspiring to shower you with blessings!!! All I could do was gush, "how beautiful, how beautiful" Sparkling snow, clear skies, crisp weather...AMAZING!
From the right, Bridal Veil Falls, Half Dome, El Capitan. Click on the photo to view a larger and better version.

Meet Coquette & Analiese
I am so excited, the girls are here!!!
Coquette is a clever one. She wanted a friend...thus, Analiese was born. She's the complete opposite of Coquette, sweet and serene, and she'll never leave Coquette's side, but she talks too much. Coquette took care of that!!!
They come, custom made courtesy of Sara Lanzilotta. To see more fantastic and detailed Sara art, visit

Running Buddies Reunited!!!
"The whole world is conspiring to shower you with blessings!" says Rob Brezsny on his website
I am a member of a really great ladies running group. Rain or shine almost every Saturday morning, we meet for our weekly run. Our little group expands and contracts. Life, work, love, relocation intrude, so sometimes we are 2 and sometimes we are 5 or more. This weekend we had a surprise visit from one of the gang who moved to the East Coast as well as the return of another who recently had a baby. I so enjoyed reconnecting with my friends...conversing, enjoying the beautiful weather, running and finally eating. An awesome day!!!
Kareese and the Money Shot
I met Kareese (How ironic is her name, since she is an ice hockey goalie?! Did her parents just know?) in Long Beach, CA at the Women's Olympic Ice Hockey Team tryouts, where I had gone to support my friend, Girl G, in her own quest for Women's Olympic Ice Hockey goalie glory. (Say that 5 times fast!)
Kareese's boss dared her to have a picture taken at tryouts with this bunny bag. I'm pretty certain there was money involved ; .) Kareese was so cool and so much fun, and I have to say "unique." Totally unexpected.
