Channeling my inner Frida!
My costume received a mixed reaction today...Even with hints - Mexican artist, unibrow, mustache, "Buenos Dias, Comrade", Diego Rivera, I still either received a blank stare or the following responses:
Carmen Miranda - 2 (um, hello!!! do you see fruit on my head?!)
Evita Peron - 1 (don't cry for me argentina!)
Fidel Castro's sister - 1 (huh?)
Is that you? Yes, it is you - 1
And one person said, "Oh...you know Linda, you really do look like Frida."
Ok, I admit a few co-workers knew exactly who I was!!! They all got mad props!
